I’m super excited to be part of the flags that will be on display in this year’s @pictoplasma conference in Berlin. Before getting selected, I felt really accomplished for just participating. I read an article the other day about the Imposter Syndrome, and learned I had been trapped for a very long time under my own expectations and insecurities. I see a lot of open calls online and I quit before even applying.

From that day, I decided to stop sabotaging myself and become aware that some of my own critics come from a really dark place and they are just feelings, not facts. To change a pattern takes a lot of effort, but applying for this was a start.

Most importantly, I had a lot fun and learned a few new things about the universal rules about flag design.
